Well, it might have taken a few years, but the The Reeves Mk1 has got its place on the cover of PVW!

It goes without saying that Maurice and the team are made up! Title amended, and dare I say 'props' to Elliott Roberts!

The in-car write up is a peach, I was there as it happened and a finer track session he couldn't have been out in. That's Elliott, sat in the Mk1, about to take out the Radical in the pictures on the prev page of this thread.

No sales pitch needed with that going on [8D]

Good stuff for Elliott giving it the feature, although ,would have liked to have seen it have the cover to itself.

I used to buy every issue and was a subscriber at one point but have not bought it for about 2 years now. Looking forward to grabing a copy & reading the article.

As a bit of an aside, a smaller scale model for the next stage of aero work has now been produced.

Surprisingly easy to work with & no need for wind tunnels. A camera phone, 3 chain smokers, a hairdryer, a funnel and a Stanley knife are all it needs.

    Feverish R&D? You bet!

i read about this car in PVW or something ages ago, back when it had a 16V, and lost track of it until a few nights ago when i stumbled upon this thread.

what an absolute monster. definitely something i'd like to have in my stable.

i don't know if this has been answered already, but what size tires is this monster running?

Stumbled over this one, Maurice on the edge in 16v guise at one of the Club GTI Blyton trackdays, circa '99/2000:

Old skool: bumpers + tinted rear lights! Bo!

Same wheels, just original silver powdercoat back then.

Still bugs me to this day what that arch kit was. It was designed with a sill kit, you can just see by the shape of the lower edge of the front arch: a surplus bit hanging down, designed to blend with a sill section - later trimmed off.
