TOCA Race Driver 2 PS2 online racing

Anyone on here bother with this? I've just got a network adapter and it's so much fun, I've been on it for several hours every night since christmas!

Anyone up for a race?

edit: does anyone know if the guys in the race sessions are all using PS2s or is it a cross format type thing?

I play this online many a time using that gamespy arcade, not the best in the world at it but its great fun.

 

I have it on my PC but yet to find a WORKING crack for it

 

I play it online from my pc but I dont know if its the same network as the ps2 online game.

 

Nope, PS2 servers are dedicated PS2 game servers afaik.

 

ah well, was hoping to use my advantage of having had the game for months before it came out on the ps2

 

Just got it for my PS2 now. I also have a wireless network bridge too. Not many online games though. Colin McRae has literally none either.

If you fancy a game, let me know. I havent played it at all yet!!

 

Yeah will give u a race sometime, the Leons and the GT Lights are pretty good fun online, so is the DTM series but it's more tricky to get the hang of.

Saw this being played earlier on sky at about 4pm on "games network" (not sure what channel number) but there is a new live program from the UK on there which play different online games & tell you what their games are called so you can play live with them on the program & today was the latest rainbow six & toca also among others.

Everyone must get this. Can handle 8 people in a session, we only have 3 playing at the moment. Awesome game, so many tracks and cars. Obviously it wont compare to GT4 when the online version of that is finally released, but for now it reigns supreme for online racing.
