Is your PS2 an older one, or new slimline?

If its the older one you need the following (assuming you already have a wireless network):-
    1. PS2 Network Adapter
    2. Wireless Bridge

If you have the newer PS2 and already have a wireless network then you just need a wireless bridge.

Don't think you do mate, I've got a wireless network setup so i might as well use it.

As for the modem, will it work straight in that or will you need a router?

You can just plug your ps2 directly to the modem. If its convenient, but if you already have a wireless connection then its best to make use of it as the wireless bridges are dead easy to set up.

You will need a router, or if you are using AD HOC a PC set up as a DHCP server. Id recommend the former though, much more reliable.

If your PS2 is the older type PS2 then you still need the PS2 network adapter.
