    Yes as long as its not a full blown chip. It sees the chip on the DNAS test and fails because it knows you have been messing with it.

    some chips can be shut down. some chips are only active during the boot sequence and then shut down.
    if you have a chip that stays on all the time you can still go online via Xlink Kia which is a server setup for moded consoles to connect (works on PS2, xbox, PSP, gamecube etc)
