150 ish in mates E30 M3 and 130 in my GTi.........

150 as a passenger in a TVR Chimera

1297mph in Concorde about 5 years ago. That was in the sky though

Got pulled by the coppers March 2003 in the Scirocco. Conversations starts "are we going to do you for doing 123mph or averaging 119mph over a mile". Ooops. After pointing out that it was 1am on a Monday morning and normal people were sleeping, in addition to being very very humble I got the telling off of my life, 60 and 3 points. Was gutted at the time but now realise I was lucky.

 

142mph in my valver on downhill stretch of the m25, scary.

 

7200RPM in 5th, 0.89 5th ratio with 3.67 final drive with 195-45-14 tyres. Thats a genuine 138mph! Mk1 16v. Oh yea, it didnt take an hour to get their either!

well, i was going on the logic of comparing it with a ferrai 355, they can do about 175mph, but it has about 400bhp, weighs less than a mkII, and is more aerodynamic. so i don't think a mkII would.
