Anyone want to have a go at predicting what'll be the 'big thing' next year?

Retro-old-skool Mk2s I reckon, but then there were plenty of those around this year too...

How about those crazy German and Dutch types modding the new mk5. Normally doesn't take them that long [:D]

Germany have been doing the big Audi wheel thing for a few years now and smoothing has been done to death.

We're usually a bit behind so I reckon there will be a few more smooth creations in the UK.

I agree with Monkey that wide styles could come back too. Reckon on seeing some Rieger kits doing the rounds. If you think about it they are only a few steps away from the Rice creations that the US love so much.

I HAVE MASTERED THE CRASH DAMAGE LOOK! Trophies ahoy!

I have a feeling the track-sl*g look is gonna go big... look at how much talk there is on here about track cars all the time.

who cares, who wants to be "IN" i couldn't give a monkeys really.........just drive the damn things

It's getting like an episode of "what not to wear"

and who really looks at a roofrack and thinks "hey that looks cool"

Modifications that "improve the car" are what ya want

better engine, suspension-not just lowered, wheels, brakes etc as in what someone like AMG or Alpina might have done if they worked on VWs

here, here! especially the rooffack bit, i never really understood why people think that looks good [:s]

but i know thats not everyones thing. some people arent that interested in performance & would rather go for crazy looks for whatever reason.

there seems to be a mad rush of ppl getting black rims with polished outers at the moment.

You sure about hating all roof racks ;), not sure about the blue thingy [xx(]

I think the 2 tone paint job only works on some jap cars and on even less european cars.
IMO that mkV looks w@nk [xx(]
