No, just OZ Superturismo WRC's. But they were about to be used i the VW Cup, and i bought them off a guy who worked for the racing line (VW racing)

    They've landed....

18x8 ET49 OZ magnesium WRC wheels, they're insanely light. I'll get a proper measurement when I get home, but they're deffo lighter than my 8.5kg Speedlines.

I don't know anything about their type, or their history but they're not VW Motorsport wheels before the purists kill me, I'm just going to give a nod to them. They've been stripped and x-ray'd, so now the project begins!

    Very light for the size!

What do you think they're off? I'm struggling!

Be carefull as i have asked an un-namable sponsor for permission to be able to replicate an historic motorsport decal for my project as they don't supply it & they said it would go against their copyright..... so i won't be getting that done then ;)

If you ask, they say "no".

If you say nothing, they're going to chase you around? I doubt it.

Subway haven't been chasing the "Dubway" stickers off the planet, yet they're all over eBay.

    Exactly, just do it mate.

Only ones i had a good response & they offered freebies were Bilstein (who still sponsor at the ring funny enough) .

I know someone who got permission to use the .:R logo on a retrim, because the trimmer refused to use it unless VW said it was ok...

But, as there's no commercial gain and I'm just doing it for personal use, I can't see them being too fussed. If I was selling sets, I'm sure they'd be p***ed.

Haven't a clue what they're off, Chris. I know Merc and BMW use those 5 extra holes for something to do with alignment (I think?), who else does?? Might be a clue.

Similar looking to the old DTM Merc/Alfa wheels, obviously bar the centre lock.

Do you not have to paint/coat/inspect these in a special way due to them being MG?

    See here http://www.dymag.com/

Correct, they are et13, although they came with a factory fitted 15mm spacer bolted to the back of them so currently running at et-2.

On the hunt for a set of these Dymags, although i was told that the carbon centres are 1500 a set.
