Went to view a VR6 today, massively underwhelmed!

    Mk3 Golfs are heavy,no question there,the VR was the most overweight one no contest,my 98 model was as new when I bought it 2.5 years ago and in superb condition,never questioned the power ,thats the differance between a good and bad one.
    I was always pleased with the fuel economy for a 2.8 considering what i read before buying the car.
