I had mine done at Stealth - around 90 i think. I was speaking to one of the guys at Britannia tryes in coventry, and i'm sure he said that the Nuneaton branch now had the full alignment equipment and that the Cov branch would be getting it soon.

They are cheap for tyres & exhausts, so maybe they will for alignment - worth a ring.

a lot of places say they do camber but when you start asking questions you find out they dont (ie they dont know what the standard camber angles are for a golf and they have no idea how they would find out either)... i think they just like to throw terminology at you.

one place told me they could adjust my castor angle, another said they would have to charge me double because theyd need to alight the rear toe first....

well i sorta set my own camber by eye. just made sure they were even. had to get the tracking done by someone else tho (who melted my cv boot....)

i wonder if there is much to be gained from changing the OE camber to slightly higher figures? anyone know?

You can do tracking fairly easily from home if you have a flat ground, spirit level, ruler

Toe (tracking) can then be done at almost every tyre centre...its not impossible form home if its to be set to zero, which i think golf's are?

Innacurate toe is what really kills tyres, camber not so much.

yup. camber is really expensive to get done. just get yours back off again, reset them so they are visually equal and then get the tracking done
