Excellent mate!!! I haven't been able to access it since you posted the link until today as we have that stupid websense cr4p. Though me being sneaky managed to pass it!!! I will research into mine to get all the history and post it up on the owners section.. Cheers again. Pete
Hmm... I think you should have titled it "mint" instead of "mine"! Oh look.. the Pirelli writing on the capsis parallel... do I sense a perfectionist!! I dont blame you mate!! I wish my mk1 wasthat mint! maybe one day...
Muppet - Centra alloys , you don't know how hard it was getting replacements for the cabrio when I bent one, and I bet you're now gonna say you got a set Al
Lol! It's not really that mint, just polishes up nicely... I took that pic whilst away for the weekend near Hay-0n-Wye... Was tanking it down some back roads, saw that spot for a photo opportunity zoom past and had to blast back again to find it! The car was all dusty and filthy, so I had to find a garage to jet wash it and then re-find the place again!! Very pleased with how it came out, got an A4 sized copy I keep meaning to frame...
they were on Campaign edition Mk2's, I had some on my '87 Scirocco GTX and they come on Rivage cabriolets.... I think..
I've got the same plates on mine (not exactly the same, it's not a clone of Jonboys car!), so far so good... A little while back I went through one of those ANPR camera things - where they automatically read your plate and look up your insurance details etc, and I don't think they could automatically read 'em cos I got followed for miles by a plod, I stuck to 60 on the motorway while he sat in my blind spot, looking up my details (I assume)... I also have the front one bent under slightly to make it harder to read from above, and the tax disc is oddly obscured by the wiper, just to make things a little bit more awkward for 'em...
