Brakes make an annoying noise when you reverse then brake, a clunk followed by squeak. Don't make any noise going forward

the climate makes some freaky noises when i put it on / switch it off that im not sure it should which annoys me somewhat

aside from that, also the noise of stuff rattling about.

my keys vibrating against the column shroud in time with the wheel bearings

the back suspension trying to escape on every tiny bump (should really sort that actually)

the exhaust vibrating on heatshield + rear bumper chorus at 3k revs

the cheeky buzz at 2k revs thanks to dodgy oil sender/wiring

I reckon if i timed it all right, i could make a song...

A squeeky noise that, i think, occurs with the top of the rear off side seatbelt or possibly the parcel shelf.
    B*stard annoying.

Also a nice exhaust vibration noise when the car is full and pulling at highish revs.

    Woo for old cars

My favourite noise incorporates 2 things.
Visually seeing one of your wheels passing you on the road and then the panic braking which allows the brake disk to grind against the road.

Its the exposed brake disk grinding against the road which is my favourite noise!!

Had the same squeak! Cured it by tightening up the gay sheet metal nuts that hold the plastic side supports for the parcel shelf in place.

Previously my worst one ever was from my old Cav SRi 16v - there was a rattle you only heard when travelling from 0 to around 25mph.

Not sure whether I was paranoid about it or not by now, but I'm sure pedestrians heard it as they seemed to turn and look (though that may have had something to do with the extra noise from the decat- very loud..).

I looked under a few times and couldn't see anything, until after about 6 months and I found a bracket from the front pipe, to the back of the engine was slack where it bolted to the engine. I tightened it up and you honestly don't know how soothing that was.....

At the moment - on my mk 2 GTi there's a vibration from the driverside window when I have it down a bit, which suggests it's not held firmly somewhere and it's starting to get on my t*ts...
