Your VW blunders...

    i topped my oil up and then set off on a 60 mile journey,30 or so miles later and lots of smoke from the bonnet stopped and popped the bonnet to reveal id left the filler cap off,oil everywhere

    [:$] you know the worst thing about this is that I got in serious trouble for "losing it" he swore blind that he'd given it to me to put somewhere safe and that I had obviously been a stupid woman and forgot. :p :lol:

    heres one for you, on my recently complete MK1 Cab I started bleeding brakes, and couldnt get a pedal. Gave up and tried again, spent the whole day trying and got nowhere.
    Thought, bugger, need a new MC. Next day I had a brainwave, checked the non-return valve in the chunky vac line to the servo. Sure enough, I had fitted it the wrong way round. flipped it round, tried brakes, nearly nutted the steering wheel :lol:
