    Is there anyone who knows where I can get new GTI fenders?

    Finished the watercooling for the turbo yesterday..
    I am using AN hoses and fittings on this one,so had to do some custom work..

    Welded in AN nipple into a frost plug for the water return..

    Lovely project mate, quick question....I notice you are running coil on plugs, did you buy the contacts for the housings on their own? If so any idea on a part number (if bought through vw)

    Me too though not a fan of stretched tyres..... (runs off to hide as he hasn't tried his own mk1 wheels yet :lol: )

    Thanks for all comments guys :)

    As for the coils speaking, I bought these contacts trough the VAG dealer.
    You will also need the wire lead kit for these,as you need to terminate these yourself..

    I can search in my tower of invoices, and put the part numbers out here :)

    The car will be painted as it was sold new as; Marsred,but maybe with an own paint variant..
    I haven`t decided yet,time will see :)

    As for the car speaking, I had to send the camshaft cover for some machining work to get the coils to fit perfectly..

    Almost finished with the intake piping..TIG welded 316 stainless :)
    Need to weld in some supports also..
