Dude I saw you go up against my mate in his MK2 3.2 turbo with haldex.

You were wild off the line and it looked great mate, credit to you for building it fella.

Well done for getting it up there without the whole thing falling apart, Ill be honest and say I wasnt expecting it to last a whole 1/4mile.

Was good to see the mk2 yesterday:thumbup:

Seriously tempted by a flocked dash, especially after touching one:lol:. Will have to get some overtime in and then I'll be in touch

Yeah, straight wheels all round would help there I feel

That was by far my best run, and I was really pleased how well it did compared to that R32T considering the amount it cost me to build [:D]

6.8 to 60, 14.8(?) quarter, mate got a video of it on his phone that I'm waiting for. Loooaaaaads of room for improvement on that!

I wasn't sure how it'd do on a hard launch myself so the fact it's still going now is amazing as far as I'm concerned [:*:]

Billy bargain, you knows you want it ;)[:D]

Fair play, its alot of strain on everything launching it off the line, I dont like doing it in a normal car so one which id welded a engine into the back Id be worried.

Are either of the engines well set up yet or just guess and feel of the pants stuff?

I told everyone that although the welding looks like crap it's plenty strong

Did I speak to you at the show? I lost the spark on the front engine on Saturday morning, so I swapped everything between the 2 engines to try and diagnose the problem, and in doing so knocked all the ignition timing out a mile, so it was set up by ear which is obviously less than ideal :thumbd:

Not to slag off a rival company, but they've made a bloody awful job of that Audi! You can see how sparse the coating is from a mile away! [:[]

About lunchtime Sunday, as I was baking in the Sprint queue, I heard it turn over a fail to fire a couple of times... [:^(]

I imagine it looks ok at night, you can see the glue all over it where the flock hasn't grabbed properly (or it's just been a quick half a job) in daylight though! [:s]

Yeah, there was quite a lot of that on the Saturday, we had it sorted within half an hour when more petrol arrived on Sunday though [:D]

Need to bug my mate some more for these vids [:p]

Doubt it, front is 2.0 rear is 1.8, never had the rear on the rollers though so no idea what power it has. They were both well down on power at Inters though unfortunately :thumbd: Will be better next year, want to knock a second off my times :)
