N/A Car is running around fine and is used as a demo. Very very snappy and responsive from low down.
    Mapped for 95RON fuel.

Supercharged derivative remapped to 270PS with even more reponse than my N/A.

I really do not know what to say about this.
This was mostly enthusiasm and a some of my background driving this.
Did not really plan to go commercial with this. This was more of a challenge to solve when there was the prospect of turbocharging the vehicle and I vowed not to convert to a standalone. Working along with the supercharged vehicle, the calibration process took 6 weeks as 90% was done in the vehicle during commuting. Road tuning was so intense that the supercharged vehicle measured 265PS the first time it was put on the dyno and quickly corrected on the 3rd pull. So far the calibration work is concentrating on 16bit M3.8.1 varients. Earlier vehicles fitted with 8bit M2.7(dizzy/cam sensor) and then M2.9 controllers are a bit easier to deliver the same type of calibration than the system fitted to my later car. Hoping to complete a turbocharged version with the 16bit controller and then who knows what challenge I may be up for.

Is that a yes or a no then lol is it possible for you to do a basic map that's better than the original? I'm sure it will be better than some of the other 'chips' out there

 If only all that time fine tuning at unsociable hours was that cheap and easy.

Hi Eddie I take it this process wouldnt get any faster if you were to do it on the VRs how much time would it take? and would it still include multiple RR sessions etc..

Every engine will be slightly different (cat/no cat, etc), but I'd have thought the cal would make an improvement on any VR running the same ECU, even without an RR session (still a good idea to check that it's running right though).

Development of this ECU on this vehicle is finished. That is unless further engine improvements are made that would justify a recalibration. Anyone who was driven this car knows how responsive it can be.
The remapping of these older ECUs does take time though and like standalone systems a lot of development is done in real situations.

hi pal nice mods there coming on well , i reckon youll have a bigger smile, once ur boosting , i run a usa ecu similar looking inside apart from the emprom chip is larger , a dill socket was needed/program tunier pro/winlos/Moates Ostrich 2.0 USB Eprom Emulator , i converted 5pin maf to 4pin maf on a obd1 loom and run 640cc injectors at 4bar , when u first look at graphs/software and see matrix it takes months on understanding what is used/needed as most parts have names for what there used for , head thrashing to say the least,,, worth it in the end:thumbup:, glad its going well
