i thought this too, but i couldnt be bothered to suggest it, its gonna go round in circles as it is, without adding the suggestion that you actually have to like a car to be allowed in it, i'd be left with not many options
anyway back on topic.... MK3 golf is obviously the best, you can always tell because of the jealous back stabbing from people that didn't get one and unded up with an old cr*ppy mk2 or bath tub handling mk4.... hth

Not surprising it's going in circles - you're not really up to speed here are you. When did anyone mention anything about anyone's feelings other than Dave's? They didn't. It's about what he did and thought. Not whether his passenger liked/didn't like the car he was getting in. Pretty obvious considering dave was addressed (and not anyone else!)

OK, so going back through this, the question that started it all was 'Why did I take Matt out in my car when he doesnt like 20vts'. Well, because I was going out anyway, and he came along, and its not like his opinion would change mine anyway or make me have a bit cry and that. I'd actually fully expect Matt to tell me the delivery of my M3 isnt as good as his ABF, same as he did with the 20vt. In both cases, he couldnt be more wrong, but we all have opinions right?
