[:s] please tell me what company youve been quoted 1800 on a gti with?!?!?!?!?!

ive searched long and hard and cheapest i could find on a gti was 4.5k tpo[:s]

im 17 aswell, been looking for a 1.3 and cheapest i could insure one of those is 1200[xx(] (i really must write it off several times and run a pedestrian over just to get my moneys worth[:s] )

as soon as i saw the orange peel i was going to reccomend 1500 grit, compound and polish but realised youd already done it, works wonders on orange peely ****e spraypaint:clap:

    looking good

The grey looks great. Real industrial look. It's heat-resistant paint, I hope. Mine started peeling again soon, even though it was heat-resistant, but then I didn't get every little bit of rust off. Big mistake. You've done a proper job, by the look of it.

Well, see you at the "Rocker Cover Pride March"!

How much on insurance? OMG. So glad im an old fart now. My last Mk2 16v cost me 150 Fully Comp on a classic policy through Footman James, with my NCB being used on my main car through a different policy. I can remember paying 1600 TPFT on my own policy when i had my first ever Mk2 16v at 20 years old though. lol.

    Looking good.
