    Ok update time .

I've upped the fuel and altered the Boost pipes (shorter and less bends etc ) following the 143bhp run , so off boost if the dark there's abit of a smoke screen but when the boost kicks in its pulling a clean 1.2bar

so the veggie wagen must be pushing out a good 150bhp now, just need to get it back on the rollers

    Update - Boost Pin

The original Pin on the right and Ground pin on left

You can see the profile difference here with the new pin in fron and the old pin behind

Drove the van with new pin, Boost comes in alot quicker with the quicker fuel delivery from the grind profile and pulls to 1 bar in no time at all T:

    Veg Oil - Verdict

KTC is Cr*p in cold weather below 4deg turns in wallpaper paste even with unleaded added.

Consumers Pride is Great is cold weather , never had any issue with it in over the past few years.

Only just started using KTC due to the price it's 10p per litre cheaper but must have a different additives

After 3 years of running 100% veg oil i have been looking an modifications to increase efficiency during the winter when the fuel is cold and also increase the performance of the Engine.

I had the injection pump rebuilt with Vition Seals etc which works great but in the cold weather the SVO is thicker and puts more strain on the injection pump to pull the fuel from the tank.

So i decided to fit a Lift pump to assist the flow of fuel to the injection pump.

FACET POSI-FLO SOLID STATE ELECTRONIC FUEL PUMPS

previous to the lift pump and in cold weather i struggled to get 1.2bar and you could feel the judder from lack of fuel at high rpm

The result is great with full flow to the Injection pump and no lack of fuelling at top end RPM T:

    and all for under 40
