Yeh, just a tad:lol: But, as I don't intend on selling it, and it's more than just a cheap a-b car for me, it's all worth the pennies spent. Plus, doing all the work myself means I only pay out for parts - I'd hate to have to cover the labour cost I've put in to it. Build yourself a VR mk2 one day, deffo worth the effort.

With turbo power it will be more of a A-Z car. Looks great!

You can't rock Black centered splits.... cause thats what i'm running on my VR when the weather gets better. 8x15 RMs with 195/45/15's and polished outer rims.

Go with black centres, with the centre cap painted black as well, looks cool.

Will have to wait to see what they look like in the flesh on the car in silver I guess...

Anybody know the best place to get outer rims for the RM's, and what's the advantage of running stainless steel over polished ally ones, other than strength (better weather resistance?)?

Wow, this is mk2 Golf perfection imo, a lovely standard looking mint mk2, but with a VR6/VR6T under the bonnet!!

Fantastic work    [8D]

Love the new rims, prefer them with silver centres personally.

Black centes with the 2 inch extra on the rims would look 'proper bo' , Im thinking of getting my centres redone at the end of the year - and my car's black!
