It became 1000 times easier for me to do it once i fitted my buckets seats and steering wheel spacer.
I sense that the drive to work tomorrow (5.20am, wet roads, trees down left, right and indeed, center) may not be the best time for experimentation. So I'll go for a drash now... Tell my family I love them if I don't make another post within 2 days! Fordo! [//'R' Logo in his new sig uncovered as an ill-considered Ruse...//] Edited by: cforehead
Don't forget the split pedal rubber. Was hoping it'd fail the MOT on that 'cus I can't be bothered to change it myself. Damn Irony. BTW G_V_K, what ARB's you got? Fordo! EDIT: Oh, Eibach... Looked @ ur site! Edited by: cforehead
Eibach 22 front and 25 rear, had them years - were fitted to my previous mk2 then when it died transferred them and a few other bits over to GVK
You would be able to cnut! Had a go... hmmm... maybe some other time! I see exactly what you mean about the steering wheel. I'm not saying I could do it if it were better placed, but it's cirtainly too close for comfort. Im just a tad over 6 foot with particularly long legs. It's my 21st in Feb, so Mother and Father are going (hopefully) to get some for me... if I don't get 'em first! We'll have to see what profits christmas brings. Cheers Fordo!
maybe raddo seat would give more space? i left foot brake in the polo, but then again thats only got two pedals and i like to open the throttle mid courner so when the autobox relises i meant today its time to pull away.
Hehehe autobox! Is a Rado seat slimmer than a mk2 one? or are the rails just mounted lower in the car? know what you mean though, you deffinataley feel less wheel restricted in one. Fordo!
