The car is built for a different scene and for a change from the normal bling/subtle cars that they feature day in and day out they have gone for something different BIG FUCKIN DEAL!!!!

Its good to see something different for a change. Yes the car isnt to my tastes but then nor at alot of the cars that are owned by people on this forum and have been featured in both PVW and Golf+. Do i tell everyone one that owns these cars i dont like that they look shite..... errr no i dont think so.... its modded to there own tastes and not mine.... and thats how it should be.

And as for what constitutes a feature car...... to me a feature car is a car that is a bit different or something special as an overal package....... ok so this MK3 might not be special in the sense that it is rare but it is something different and something that Mk3man has invested a hell of a lot of time and money in and the work that has been done has been done well......

There is one thing for sure, if i was offered a feature on my car (highly unlikely i know:() after reading the comments on this thread i think i would turn it down anyway. I've invested too much blood, sweat and tears in my car, not to mention , in my car to have a few narrowminded idiots slate it...... [:x] [:x] [:x] [:^(] [:^(] [:^(] [:^(] [:^(]

Basically he got bored and kept sticking cosmetic
bits on as he couldnt afford the insurance on a
higher powerd car its another all show and no go!
who cares im sure he thinks its just lovely and i
doubt if he's the only one! good on him for trying and
getting a mag feature is what i say!! I also think its
kak but thats my op and like other people say it'd be
boring if the cars where all the same ;)

    OK.

f**king hands up all those people that have not put any piece of extra plastic on their car EVER !!

Eyebrow spoiler, Big bumpers, Spoilers, Arch trim etc,

I'm sure at some stage we have all been guilty of doing something like this.

I am glad the Goof featured this car, at the end of the day not everyone at 19 can buy, run, insure a GTI so they go for the next best thing and make their car unique.

If you dig out any Goof mag from years ago lots of you would think those cars are now poo. Even the Blinged up US etc cars they show in PVW each month can be seen as rubbish.

I would suggest that those who are ripping this guy to bits, phone up the Goof mag and get your car featured. Then we can all have a discussion on your car based on the same values etc.

I am really surprised there are people here giving these negative views as fellow club members.

what is the 'scene' these days..do you really know ??

The 'scene' is forever evolving christ sake it was not that long ago you could get a mag feature for having TSW Venom rims on...

sure everybody has different views on what they want in a car but there has been a certain amount of overspill of dissing on this thread.

I am really very disappointed in many on here [8(]

Can't raise my hand I'm afraid. The best motor I've put together had four
big chunks of plastic stuck round it, and so has my current project.

Although I did have some M3 mirrors once [:$] - on the right

Saying `whos put plastic tat on their cars` is a bit like asking whos worn shoes.

Theres a difference between some mods and others, some are good/classy and others look sh*t.

Which is the debate here I believe.

If you think they're going overboard slating his car, check out this shower of arseholes. The best bit is on page 3, where they actually start arguing over whether it's radar-proof

    that car is hideous.

but i also thought the same bout the yellow corrado in this months pvw.

the car's nice and all but from what i can see it has a nice set of bbs and air ride......what and that deserves a feature..

no disrespect but i can go to no rice next week and find about 10 cars nicer than that. 10 nicer cars that id want to read about
