I dont get the whole `90 spec trim must be JUST SO` attitude

 

Are you getting upset about people calling your big bumpers tacky?

 

my point!!
other posts are saying without the 90trim the car is incomplete.
So im asking..where is the line drawn?
if the car has 90trim and funky mirrors, is it still ok,
or do the addition of the mirrors then take the car back to unaccptable
Mirrors was just an example. could be wheels,lights ect..

 

Lets just settle this the old fashioned way with a;

they didn't have arches either tho...

to be fair, i think it's the thick strips i hate, not the fact they're on with big bumpers.
even with my driver with small bumpers i was changing them to 90spec without arches and cl spatz.

theres nothing to be settled n1ck, were defending the same point, more or less!!!im not even sure wot this 'debate' is about anymoe. Everyones saying something different!

 

dont get me wrong, i like both.

in fact i have both.

both a gti with full 90 spec and a driver with big bumpers. and
neither car looks better than the other.

Golf mag does seem to have become very second rate to PVW recently but the twin G60'd Mk2 that was in the last mag was mental

In my opinion, Golf+ and PVW should really stick to featuring standard Oak Green MK2s and nothing else.

 

yeah it could be renamed Oak VW+

Looking forward to 100th issue of PVW - should be some nice cars.

I didn't get any negative comments. Seems to me some people in the 'scene' just don't like anything thats different

Not saying i like the MK3, not my cup of tea, but its how he wanted his car to be, which is what its all about. Doing things that YOU want to do, not what other people THINK you should

 

Cause the graphics down the side of the car were poo!

Big Bumpers and Bigger side trim looks as good..

At least T_R_D isnt making his Car in to a GTI copy by adding the GTI Trim.

As its been said that MK3 is Gash and i think it shouldnt been in the mag.
