looks nice, i never have been a fan of lutons bread bin but my younger brother picked up a dark blue 1.4 SR (which used to belong to Robbie Savage  ) for peanuts and after driving it (hard) they are starting to grow on me. I think something bog standard looking stripped out with cage coilovers and a 2.0 16v would be a right old riot!

i'm sorry....but you can't honestly think that car is a turd...not your cuppa, don't like nova's, fair enough....but to call it a turd is just silly really.

nowt wrong with that at all in my eyes, its probably used as a road rally car, good choice of car for it imo - light weight, cheep to build andmaintain, that would be my choice over a mk2 golf if i were to do a couple of stages

All the 17 year old nobheads near me drive em, DIY tinted windows, rust galore, brown interiors and a 4" exhaust that sounds like a kazoo.

For that reason alone I wouldnt have one.

its the same in every village town and city across the uk, doesnt mean they are all like that,

there are chaved up vw's every where too, doesnt mean its not possible to have a nice one,

that nova is probaly well speced to - there for a purpose not trying to look good / have the loudest exhaust/sterio!

its my car, cheers for all the comments peeps, surprised its generated so much debate lol. Its in bits at the moment as we have stitch welded the engine bay and dropped a 1600 16v in there which will be running 48 mm taper jenvy tb's. Its running a lot of rose jointed parts in the suspension now, and solid rack mountsso it probably wont be that comfy on the road but hey it will be fun on the track.<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

im pretty much used to all the stick nova's get, in reality thats half the appeal when you go flying past a Scooby etcat a track day in your flying turd!

this is it at the moment: kinda been on hold during final year uni + ive got the g40 to play with at the mo lol
