the offset driving position never bothered me tbh....but i did learn to drive in a corsa and then went straight into the nova....or it coudl be that taller/larger people notice it more. you get used to it pretty quick.

i admit most do rattle....but one of mine didn't surprisingly, it felt very solid.

Looks really nice - I liked that green one that someone posted a few months ago as well. A lot of good hard work and effort has gone into both. And as poeple have said, just because its not a VW, doesnt mean its a pile of pooe. Yes, Novas are bought by chavs - thats because they are cheap. I cant see a chav putting that much effort into a car, without sticking bits of fibreglass and other crap on, and keeping it looking that good.

No doubt it will go very well..Was out on track with IanB up at Donny a while back & we had a play with a 1600 Nova on TBs...was quite swift. ;)

A nicely done Nova is a good bit of kit!

Best you go out & find an Oak Green 16v & dust him eh?? Not bad for a turd ;) ;)

    Very clean :)

I have to agree though, the offset driving position sucks. First cavalier I drove like that, I thought it was bent

    I quite like it [:$]

It looks clean, there are no silly mods like undersill neons or led washer jets. And I bet it's in better nick than my Golf is.

    Cheers, Jamie

Yeh i was looking at parralells as i know there isnt much in it in the performance stakes but i came across a taper inlet manifold cheap so have decided to go that route. Not sure what sort of power it will put out as its only a 6000 milex16xel, running arp con rod bolts standard internals, with a 6.2 kilo formula junior vauxhall flywheeland a helix compeition clutch and cover. Its also running a btb exhaust system and manifold so there shouldnt be any restriction there.

For christ sake have people gone mad on here, seems most of you actual like novas???
Even if he puts a 1600 in it, its hardly pull the skin of a rice pudding. I say track him down and burn it straight away. As for watch out for him on the track hes not even going to be able to beat my polo. Also I heard there is a wings west kit on its way.

Agreed. There appears to be 2 types of people here, those who like cars, and those who like VWs.

Could have been?? I dont remember it being that tidy though....

I think Ollster should let the car do the talking. A decent spec 1600 on TBs will mince your average valver ;)
