time for update all parts are all ready just a matter for me to put togther. firstly i like to thanks bill aka badger5 with all his help and eddie aka Toyotec for the help with megasquirt and mapping

firstly i got my self some 1.8 t rods integrated engineering riffle drill rods

i clean the bam pistons with oven cleaner they come up really good and i fitted to rods

so with the bad experince with my other block i asked bill to fit my rods and new rings for me dropped block and picked up nice and fresh

my steering rack i rebuilt all ready and fitted

as the turbo was sent to me for test and eddie did say to me get a egt fitted so bill once again fitted a egt sensor into manifold

a small battery was fitted to driverside innerwing

bargin:::: these usually go for 150 quid but the seller put a auction and i won it at 2am at 64 quid delivered mk1 golf alloy rad dual core

    and fitted nicely

when eddie and bill mapped the car last yr we had problems with manifold back pressure so the head was sent to badger5 for some cat gold exhaust valve springs to over come this all collected

once again thanks to bill he fitted and machined a 80mm billet adaptor on the turbo today :)

and for my intake i be using a Neoprene 2 PLY ducting need to cut to size

and also collected from badger 5 larger port 10mm POhenolic Insulator gasket

thats it all parts here now to fit and run engine in and dyno at badger5 will update

What are you doing with the recirc valve and pipes that normally join the tip when using the intake pipe ducting? I quite like the idea.

Bet the wishbone coming loose was scary ! :o

Just looking at that bolt, I`d be want at least 1 more thread showing through the nyloc, preferably 2. From that pic, it looks as it the thread isn`t engaged into the nylon properly, so won`t be `locked`

    Hi Peter,

Have you got a photo of how this speedo cable attaches at the gearbox end on an 02J? :)
