Will that lot ^^ be upside down when the car is turned over? Just wondering on the fuel pot (?) if its designed to work like that?

Otherwise good work, keep it up

Dead-heading your fuel pumps is a fairly quick way to burn them out, as the fuel flowing through cools the pumps, & the fpr on the fuel rail limits the pressure differential (i.e. load). I'm surprised VW went back to a non-return system in the mk5 as these systems have a tendancy to suffer from heat-soak induced vapour lock. Seems like a step backwards.
If you do decide to run a non-return system I'd recommend either using the entire mk5 setup, or maybe fit an accumulator & pressure switch that turns the fuel pumps off when the accumulator's full.
Personally I'd stick to the mk4 return setup

I get it from VWP here, use the heat shrink with glue in it to get a good seal on the ends.

Has the makings of a show stopper. what are you planning for the look of the car when finished? the design 90 wheels are a good start.
