Cheers, good to meet you yesterday. Your car looks even better in the flesh, the standard to aim for i think So thats a third and second at Curby now in other peoples cars Just wish there was some brake pad material left on the front pads, i might have been able to try a bit of late braking then All good fun though Thanks I love it
Now thats a question! I really wanted to keep the original colour, but perhaps throw something else into the mix. Bit like Geoff Thomas's blue and silver Golf that he's got tucked away. Maybe do the inside silver so its easy to touch up, and do the outside original colour with some silver or grey. Don't want to make it too lairy, i think.... Long time to think about paint though
That is really looking impressive Danny. Got a mean stance. Regarding paint, you've got a lot of photo angles there so try some photoshopping to see what it could look like? Gurds
Cheers for the comments lads, plenty of pics to come once i've picked it up. Gurds - it might be and maybe won't do sod all for handling, but it looks good so i'm happy. The floor where the fuel cell and other bits and bobs will be located should have been taken as low as reasonably practicable, below the level of the chassis rails. The rear diffuser is set at approximately the correct angle of around 13 degrees, and the rear panel was designed previously for the diffuser to exit right under the bumper just as it does. Its pretty much as i'd planned so all is good with me.
