Could have done with the extra bootspace for the start of next week. We are moving to a house within walking distance of work. Car will officially be fun/weekends from next week. Also, have a massive man cave at the back of the house. Big ehough for the Clio + 1/2 Mk1/2 Golfs! ;)

Well, still not got it. Oh well, gives me chance to work a bit more on the garage. Waiting on wheel bearings, as they keep getting the wrong parts delivered ............ direct from Renault.

This is really the worst new car repair experience i have ever had the dis-pleasure of experiencing now. Was looking forward to getting the car back, but im just not looking forward to it at all now.

Contacted this morning by the Claim people through Renault and they said that the car has now got the correct bearing and that ................. its now got to go in for paint. What???? I was told it had been through refit and was just waiting for the bearing to be fixed.

So estimations are now for completion 1 week today.

What a total joke. 6 weeks to repair some minor damage. If i took 6 weeks to fix a support issue with a user at work, id have the sack.

Have called Customer Services and logged a complaint. Its not Renaults fault really, but the services are linked to directly by them. As for getting a new car replacement, that just wouldnt happen.

a snot a gram will get you far! dont be sarcastic in it just to the point and express your displeaure with the service, and how you have nbow lost all faith in the brand and your next vehicle will not be french, you will be going back to volkswagen who look after thier customers... that will really rub them up, if you get a fob off letter back go higher up the chain and ask to speak to a manager of customer care direct and then tell them the same and that you are now really pigged off with the fob off letter, it works trust me

by now I would have walked in to the dealer with the spare keys about 3 weeks ago and handed them back and sat there untill I had a new car due to their incompantcy!

It's not the dealers fault to be fair. But Renault are the ones that appointed this bodyshop the Renault approved repairer for the area.

same differance, the dealer is a point of contact so is where I would be dropping the keys and as Chris says the V5 off... but as its got this far I would now be well in to snott o gram mode and seaking comp, (how much more juice is the mini drinking over the Clio? as I will put money on it being a few mpg more.... plus the time and hassle of it all, and their cost for the minge too wont be cheap!)

LOL. Far from it. Mini sees 30mpg. Lucky to get 23-24mph out the Clio.

Just want the job done properly and right. And i want it back last week. Next service for free would be nice. If the car is repaired like a pigs ear, i will be taking it further.
