My new Oil Cooler Kit (FINAL PICS PAGE 3)

a little bit of oil came out but like i said switched the engine off straight away so hopefully no damage.

definately get those gauges in, i have an oil filter housing that can hold 3 senders, i have a twin pole sender on the top of the oil filter housing for the oil pressure then have two oil temp senders, 1 for the mfa and another for the gauge

 

see......two on top and 1 at the front

oakgreen88 what model did you get the housing from?

 

it came on my audi 2l 8v 3a block, i'll try and get a part number

These sensors do they sense oil before or after the cooler?

 

I have mine in the same place, but with the fittings on the bottom, using stainless hoses, mine come over the top of the ARB and up to the filter! Had it like that for 3 years now, never been a problem!

They will sense the pressure/temperature of the oil entering the engine.
