That would be how I see it. Radical just about gets away with the term as you can only buy them from the manufacturer, i.e. Radical.

Anything from tuners such as Regal or Loaded etc cannot be considered production cars and so cannot claim these records imo.

I agree with the above, so all those porche tuning companies going for the speed records are in the same boat...

Wow, is it just me who doesn't like the look of these? Yes, I know it's the RS model so it's not exactly going to look standard.. But to me, if I didn't know the RS series existed, I would think "there goes another chavved up focus"

It's got the silly big spoiler, rear tinted windows, big bodykit and chavvy vents on the bonnet! The only thing I like is probably the rear diffuser :)

^^^ wash your mouth out, its the nuts. I wouldn't want it in white/orange/blue though, all a bit too 'look at me'.

Shame they don't do some subtle colours

Yes it's just you who thinks this

    Focus RS rules

you should visit barry boys and refresh your memory to what a chavved up car is.

I'd agree with Jamie_pyrite, I'm sure it may be a great car to drive, but that definitly looks proper factory pre-chavved to me - if you saw a Focus with that bodykit on it on Barryboys etc, most would slate it for sure.

have to disagree, there is a massive difference when a manufacturer produces a performance model and the styling is done from the outset.....

Think about mk4 R32, and then every mk4 golf you have seen that has some sort of after market twin exhaust bumper etc..... like chalk and cheese

think it looks spot on, was concerned that the windows and headlights looked like they had water on the inside already though.
was there again last night so guy must of got it on tuesday or is it visiting as it's being left on the lane next to the house and not even in the drive, surprised no one has nicked it, will have to get my colleague to come park his st next to it to take photos.........

The fast fords have always had massive wale tails and skirt and all that stuff. Not exactly a new concept is it.

Wez- break into his house and nick it and report back how much fun it is.

Any fiesta with 500 hp gets my vote. But you'd still look a dick sat waiting in the car for the for the wife in tescos with all those appendages hanging off it!

On the track yes and the streets no

I say the latest Focus looks lairy.

Where the Mk1 Focus RS was bordering on VAG levels of styling subtlety (although the interior wasn't), the latest one has gone through Halfrauds.

Also, they look atrocious in green:

im sure its brilliant to drive but id have to agree with the minority - looks like chavved up nonsense. I know exactly the type of berk that will be driving them and guarantee ill find one glued to my bumper in the coming weeks. I could think of 1000s of cars id buy before even considering this one. grated its going to be quick but its a FORD ffs.

Same here, but thats what sells these days, what with all that Fast & Furrymuffs business.
