    Corsa B isn't it? can only imagine what a barried up chavwagon the rest of it must have been.

    When I got my mk2, after a couple of weeks I heard a bit of a blow in the exhaust. Seems to have been previously repaired I think...

    And putting it on the lift one day, there was a bit of crunchiness from the floor.
    Closer inspection revealed it had been patched.

    After I'd cleaned up my vomit.. I chopped it out. You know when you're doing something, and subconsciously, something doesn't seem right..? I was cutting through the "repair" with the grinder, and it dawned on me afterwards, there weren't any sparks, and a funny smell.

    Yup... Somehow, no idea how, they'd managed to "weld" a bit of ally to the steel floor.

    Previous owner's mechanic was her Dad... He mustn't have liked his daughter!

    Is that what they call tack welding? Almost looks like some actual tacks were used to nail it on first [xx(]
