yes its true, my car is running the best it has in its life, so when on saturday i saw 2 novas playing i thought i'll give them a flyby LOL,

    how wrong i was,
the second one pulled out and gave chase, off a roundabout, down a long straght...2nd,3rd (hit limiter) 4th....5th, still on my butt,@ about 125 i pulled over he flew past, he was 3up too.

i was gutted but there was nothing i would do.
I'll try to find out woth spec it was,if it was a 1.2 merit im going to hang myself!!!!!!!!! LOL

    yeah..prob a 2.0 16v.

did you see him go through any roundabouts...thats how you can tell if he can drive (most nova drivers can't, but if you find one that can be worried!). usually you can have them round the outside (thats if you can drive!) - they don't like that, makes them feel silly!

There was a Nova round where I live that was f**kin' quick.
2.0L 16V with Nitros. Very, very quick. Saw it chasing after a Fireblade once. The Fireblade couldn't shake it until the speeds got silly.

Looked f**kin awfull though - usual 2F2F bodkit.

it's when they've got them on back to front that you've got to worry!

Boys boys, theres a Nova in this months Max Power (Dont ask). 0-60 in 2.8 secs!!! Two Vauxhall Calibra Turbo engines pushing out near 700bhp! Looks like the VDub tuners need to build something really special now!

    Hey

I dragged a nova in my GTi a while back. He was running a 2.0 l 16v calibra turbo engine. Sounded pretty cool, apart from everytime it was idling youd have to keep reving to stop it stalling.

Needless to say he destroyed my standard 2.0 completely lol.

well u just been done by a like minded car nut like yourself!!!!!! even if it was a nova! not all nova drivers are bum wipes, and some are just as nuts as us about there cars .when u put a 20lt 16v in the front of a nova u have to sort the front end out like if u were doing a vr6 in a mk2! or the dont handle well at all , next time u wont be so clever when u pass them lol

It may have been fast Velly but you can pretty much garentee the engine will either blow up or they'll crash the car soon if there driving like that ;)

If the haven`t been stengthened properly, the engine rips the front of the car off eventually (no sh1t!).
