Not bad at all! That's shifting along nicely. Will have some immense pull out of corners now.

Thanks mate, just deciding what to do with diffs now, tempted to get a plated central diff so 4wd is permanently engaged.

Finally got round to wrapping the heat shield R-Tek made for the bulkhead before the trackday, not the tidiest job but I was in a rush,

And also got to say thanks to JJ at R-Tek Motorsport who helped out while at Anglesey. Before leaving I managed to catch a boost pipe on the ramps which must have broke the seal as after a few laps it popped off. JJ helped out and got back on track, popped off a later in the day again but it just needed cleaning up and joining properly.

    Thanks Benny.

Unfortunately I'm not that skilled. I took it to R-Tek Motorsport, same place that did my engine.

Indeed they are, good value too when the price for a fully custom cage built how you want it is roughly the same as the custom cages stuff.

Also sent the arches off for a little alteration:

    ooooooooooooooh. Looks good in black!

Would very much like to come across this on track!

At first, reading the thread, i was a bit skeptical, 4 door, heavy low powered V6, it didn't seem like the ideal place to start.

It certainly took a turn for the better though!

It's fantastic to see something develop as you read the thread!

Ko4 TFSI, R-tek cage, decent brakes, looks very proper indeed.

I wonder if it's still got the wooden gear knob lol

quick google and I found it on uk-mkivs. Not been updated in 6 months or so though. Seems many of these things get built, then life takes over!

Dreading that happening to mine, but I'm sure it will at some point!

I must say, if I was going to track a car it probably would be a Mk4. Always been a fan of this one since the build thread started

As said, life has taken over. I still have it though, occasionally gets a run out and hasn't had any problems. I'd booked onto a number of trackdays over the past couple years but had to cancel. Maybe try and squeeze one in soon.

    For now...
