Classic Senna style...jabbing the throttle mid-bend They must be the fastest pair of Slip-ons in the world!
i noticed he used heal and toe on the right foot.....i never thought of that, i use my left foot and leave the right on the accelerator it looks like he is covering the clutch at all times and rolling his foot to blip the accerlerator amazing to watch tho
Yes...was missing out the pit straight though.. Turned right at the chicane after 130R & came out on the straight before Degner 1...
I do that too... I therefore conclude that I'm every bit as good In fact, these days I'm noticeably quicker than him
That's what heel & toe is sir, although I'm sure Mr Senna wasn't averse to a little bit of left foot braking too...
if someone had of said here is a clip of micheal jackson driving i would have believed it same shoes and similar moves
Thats why you were having probs when we were on about h+t before mate Still not easy to do in a mk2 Drove the mk5 gti yesterday, it's got a base mounted/hinged throttle, makes it a lot easier.
well i dont find it too bad left foot braking, its a little hard at first to brake smooth with you heal but at least its possible just went to lunch and tried the senna way but my foot is not wide enough to bridge the gap...so not possible to learn i might bend the accelerator in a little
This one's even better then, NSX again, 34 meg http://auto.joins.com/upboard/pds/pdst/BestMotoring_NSX-R_Nu rburgRing.avi
For another really rather fast pair of slip on shoes & white socks you really must see Stephan Roser in the Ruf CTR 'yellowbird' at the ring. Enlightening to say the least!
...or Walter Rohrl driving the Audi Quattro short sport winged monster at awesome speeds back in the group-b rally days... I've got a video that shows his awesome talent, with a camera mounted to show his footwork. It must be on the web somewhere...
