aye,he likes to think so ? well yeah he is,was just a spur of the moment thing when i saw it for sale at inters, the bank loan wasnt good for me at the time neil.
now we know what iggy pop would look like without hair anyway. as for cleaning the rain stains, i dont think i have the energy or inclination to be that protective over some pressed steel mascarading as self propelled transportation.
congrats on the repair riley. looks absolutely stunning (both before and after). glad you've kept another clean mk1 on the road!
The Mk1 looks mint Glad you were able to get it repaired to your satisfaction, it looks like it would be a difficult car to part with.
Thats a truely lovely mk1, but why not return it to totally original spec? Like changing the grill surround and number plates back. Cheers Dan
cheers guys,im friends with it again now dan,i still have the original red surround, was thinking of putting it back on sadly the original dealer number plates were destroyed when someone fired my mk2. was gonna take them to vag and ask about having em reproduced,or use a sign company. went for the black/silver just to make it stand out a bit. neil.
well i have to say that car is a thing of beauty. I would normally have no interest in a standard car - they bore me. But, in this case i would definitely put the right grille and plates back on it asap.
look its still a pile of crap, and just because i like you ill give you one more chance, 200 and ill pic it up take it away and you will never have to worry about it ever again! thats how nice a guy i am
What a mint motor! Bloody heck! Glad you have come to your senses and decided to keep it. That is one clean car. Happy to see that its been fixed.
