    Too kind cheers lads:thumbup:

To be fair, I've had it 8 or 9 years now so I've had long enough to make a few...lol changes. It has come a long way from when I first bought it! I hardly recognise it myself!

Cheers Ben, it's been a long old love/hate relationship lol But I'm stuck with it I think.

Few more pics (Too many as usual!) that I forgot to grab off the camera. I always take a few similar but can never seem to get 'The perfect angle'

Just done some wideband AFR logging. All the below is with:
    Ported charger.
    68mm pully.
    RSR Charger outlet.
    Boost return deletion.
Heavily ported/polished and dewedged throttle body.
    Sierra cosworth FMIC.
    SNS 5.5 chip.
    Ford red tops injectors - 312cc @ 3bar and 14.5ohms.
    Porsche 3.5bar fuel pressure regulator.

First Run (Three logs): 60mph 4th gear to WOT through to 5th gear.
    Log 1:

Log 2: Showing only the WOT and gear change from above.

Log 3: Showing the average AFR's of the above.
    Min: 10
    Max: 22
    Average: 12

Second Run (Three logs): 80mph 5th gear to WOT.
    Log 1:

Log 2: Showing only the WOT from above.

Log 3: Showing the average AFR's of the above.
    Min: 11.9
    Max: 12.8
    Average: 12.3

So the most important part of all that is the bottom log, showing only full throttle (WOT) in 5th gear. With a minimum of 11.9AFR, Max of 12.8AFR (Perfect!!!!!) and Average of 12.3AFR (Slightly rich but good!!!) as the plan is to fit my 65mm charger pully and then do the same logging again.

OK...Fitted the new 65mm pulley along with new belt and small charger timing belt. Initial thoughts on driving home in traffic revealed an issue...As far as logging/measuring It gets to 'X' speed much quicker lol. It feels very much more pokey/faster and actually runs better! Especially at tickover and as far as throttle response (rpm rises quicker)

Anyway, onto the logging with the 65mm pulley. Same runs as before.

First Run (Three logs): 60mph 4th gear to WOT through to 5th gear.
    Log 1:

Log 2: Showing only the WOT and gear change from above.

Log 3: Showing the average AFR's of the above.
    Min: 10
    Max: 19
    Average: 12

Second Run (Three logs): 80mph 5th gear to WOT.
    Log 1:

Log 2: Showing only the WOT from above.

Log 3: Showing the average AFR's of the above.
    Min: 11.7 (.2 drop)
    Max: 13.3 (.5 rise)
    Average: 12.4 (.1 rise)
    Good!!!

So at wide open throttle in 5th gear, the 68mm pulley has an average AFR of 12.3 and the 65mm pulley has an average AFR of 12.4! All good. But the interesting thing is that the 65mm pulley runs leaner initially at full throttle. You can actually feel this as it seems to have more of a surge, and I'd say on the 68mm it felt more flat even though there was more fuel!

You can see this on the below image where I've put the 68 and 65 side by side, notice the 65mm runs leaner at initial wide open throttle. The red line running across is 12.8AFR, which most consider ideal fueling at WOT.

And there we have it...some 'rough' logs/results of 68 VS 65 pulleys.

    Neil.

    Here's the next job done!

I wanted a twin inlet setup but wanted some specific specs...
Cone filters but didn't want cotton gauze for obvious reasons.
Internal diameter of the charger flanges to be as big as possible (Others tend to be 54mm)

So with the help of a good mate (Manny) available here we made up a kit for it.

Found some PAPER! filters, and large ones at that! And the charger flanges are a superb 60mm internal diameter!

Flanges and pipe, mine are anodised black, but other cool colours can be had!B Red/Blue etc.

The PAPER filters, large ones with 70mm inlets/necks.

    Pipework consisting of:
    2x 45deg reducers, 70mm > 63mm.
    1x 180deg 63mm.

Excuse the steam in the pics as I'd just washed it.

Oh, and some pics of the different ride heights lol.
    Full height!

Well this morning I quickly fitted new passenger side window rollers. All cleaned up and regreased, much better. Just need some new door membranes and then I'll get the drivers side done too.

Cheers Ian, aye, planning on black samco coolant hoses at some stage so I'll be getting new hose clamps etc, needs other bits doing at the same time (Shortening top rad hose for better clearance).

How you doing btw mate? Good to still see you knocking about on here:thumbup:

Is it worth making a cold air box on the inner wing for those air filters to stop them dragging hot engine bay air straight back into the engine ?

That was one of automatic the first thoughts when I had the twin inlet idea 'Must fabricate a heat shield'

But I honestly don't think it needs it, I'm not sure why people bother tbh (On the Corrado G60 anyway) Even after having been sat ticking over for a while, I can lift the bonnet and it's not like there's a load of hot air hanging around.

And in theory, while on the move a heat shield would actually restrict flow over the filters. Much like if you had a piece of alloy on the back of the radiator, air wouldn't flow through so well.

Oh and there's a 4" neoprene cold air feed sat directly under the filters (In the old carbon can hole) which comes from the front bumper.

Had some issues with the Innovate wideband giving dodgy readings so thought I'd try a new lambda probe. It basically uses a wideband probe from a TT/1.8T, you can see the part numbers in pics as I went for a genuine bosch/Vw/Audi one.

Problem solved, although I'm still not happy with the Innovate kit...

Also I had a rattling from underneath which was the rear zaust heat shield, it had worn through on the clips, so I bought some new clips/replaced them all, and also started making up some formed alloy washers to pop on there first. Rattling has gone and it's all nice and tight now.

Oh, and I've decided that I'm gonna take it off the road, potentially sell it or let it sit for a while. I've just lost the love for cars lately and need something sensible for the kids etc. Not sure what to do with it yet, seems pointless having it sat there doing nothing...

LOL, I have said it a few times I must admit But... I have gone to the dark side!

Six speed 2L straight six, 2002 Lexus IS200 Sport with factory Aero bodykit.

Being a sport it has an LSD, Factory tinted rear windows, Fancy trim, Drilled aluminium pedals, s-steel sill plates, boot spoiler, lower suspension and because it has the aero kit it has 18"!!!! Rims.

Video of me driving the Corrado home and my Dad going past in the Lex.

Yeah I was actually going to go for a red one but couldn't find one and this came up, being a sport model and having the kit I had to have it really. I've been looking at supercharger kits too lol but I'm going to resist! Or at least try! I've bought this for the sake of the kids mainly. Get a bike rack on there, easier to get around over speed bumps etc.

Jon, about 28mpg average and as far as what they feel like...If you drive one I'm pretty sure you would love it, they feel like real quality. All the little pockets and switches etc everywhere are great too. Gearing is very close so makes it a fun drive. Very very smooth and quiet, but yet when you put your foot down the straight six purrs nicely. Slow as sh|t like but it's not about that for me anymore.

Gave it a boot full sideways earlier, felt good, easily held and controlled with a good steering feel (Speed sensitive power steering)

Today consisted of an 'enhancement' as my mate would say lol. Yellow Lamin-X Fogs done.
Haven't touched the paintwork yet but I'm going to give it a full correction at some stage (It REALLY needs it) I minted the interior today and treated the leather etc too.

Anyway...I suppose this thread is at an end so to speak. :-( Not sure what to do with the Corrado now, seems completely pointless having it sat there.

May as well pop latest updates up about the Lexus.

The kids have inspected it. They approve.

Have started a paint correction on it, only got stage 1 done so far but gonna struggle for time to complete it. Just gonna keep it well washed until I can get back into it. Will come up quite well.

Spot the Corrado lol. Now sat in my unit :-(
