The systems are totally adjustable, and can be light or heavy. They have some control box IIRC - it's eBay stuff, with an RS Components pot.

There is some loss of the centering feel I would say, but it does mean that pump-driven PAS, otherwise impossible to lighten and delivering too much feel or self-centering, can be controlled on the spot. I cannot do this with the ex-Reeves Mk1 Bluebird PAS rack which is on my Mk1, driven by a Mk2/3 pump, and for me it is far too keen on self-centering and a bit less resistance wouldn't go amiss - but I can't adjust hydraulics.

Also factor in the challenges this car and its sister Mk1 give their creator. Not many people are driving daft turbo FWD cars on race tracks at 81!

Cool, I thought the MK1 was still on hydraulic. Didn't realise it was on EPS. I've driven an MGB V8 with an adjustable EPS kit on it and I must admit it felt really nice to drive.

Think I'll just have too give it a try and see what it's like.

Can you not adjust the spring pressure in the pump to give a bit more feel?

    As in the hydraulic pump?

I've no idea where to adjust it if you can?!!

Yeah on the hydraulic pump is a valve with a spring underneath that is screwed in to the pump. It's underneath the 21-22-24mm hex on the top where the outlet comes out. I didn't know if by adjusting this spring it will effect the pressure going to the rack?

You could also try fitting a bigger pully on the pump.

The epas controllers are only about 100. I have one on mine and am looking forward to trying it.

Just an awesome, ever evolving car. Always great development and new ideas to get stuck into with the Reeves cars.

It was tongue in cheek lol

However, Rambo will confirm that, traffic assisted, we managed to stay ahead for several laps later in the day ;) However, once it was clear, he was gone [IMG]

However, I was quicker through Surtees, the slippery conditions and Aero meant I was a bit faster through there. Everywhere else and he caught up lol

The Reeves motors never seem to stop amazing me, lapping like that in slippery conditions, great cars, great set-up and great driving of course!! Updates will be sorely missed:cry:
