had my mk2 golf on the rollers there today (the white one on p slots)

    TSR pack a head
    TSR 202 cam
    MAGNEX exhaust
    K&N panel Filter
    Remap

Made 127bhp and 107lb ft torque

i did not stay all day. just the morning

Was that the most powerful N/a 1800 8v there today?

saw the most beautiful blue golf rallye on white compomotives. (thing was poorly though and ****ed water everywhere) still made brutal power though and needed 2 people sat in the boot to keep the thing on the ground!!!!.

only thing i will say is that alot of cars where not able to keep full traction on the rollers and did not get maximum readings. (maybe tsr need a different strap arrangement to hold cars down??)

still great day and a fiver for a run on a rolling road was a bargain

    many thanks to tsr

    Cheers Luke

Not happy with my results. 480bhp and 381ftlb of torque, the main reason for the low figures is due to massive heatsoak. The fan just isnt big enough for big power cars. Plus as time was limited the cars werent cooled down before the power run, this resulted in low outputs.

It would be fine for non turbo cars and turbo diesels where the inlet temps arent as critical for power output. Although the turbo dervs would have a reduction in torque.

Same theory applies to supercharged cars as it does turbo petrol aslong as they are using intercoolers.

Chargecooler equipped cars wouldnt suffer the same sort of problems generally speaking.

Overall good day out, shame the power figures werent higher, but hey, for a fiver i cant complain, perhaps if I was paying full wack they would have cooled the cars properly and the power figures would be spot on???

That was mine, it wasn't poorly just that the coolant light was on, so the guy just opened the cap to the expansion tank and obviously cause it was hot it spat coolant everywhere. My fault really I should have told him the clocks were faulty.

Didn't make as much power as it should have, don't think they had enough time to properly setup between each run, not really secured properly. Maybe they should have limited it to 30 cars instead.

Only stayed for the morning so missed your car Audiman, would have been good to see that even if they didn't cool it down properly. Still, as you say, for a fiver you can't complain.

Had a good morning and met some sound people.

    Cheers,

    Will

Needless to say, the old girl did break down on the way home!! N/S driveshaft bolts came out of the flange :O

Quick call to the RAC and we were on our way again Thought there was a wheel bearing making odd noises at about 140! Went to pull out of a junction and it wouldnt move. LMAO
