    Yup...still amazes me how accomplished "old" mk2's are on the road....

    Its even more fun upsetting people in the Jetta as it looks so ancient[:D]

    but the lardy mk4 is twice the weight lol still dont think its 205 id say higher myself as i can beat standard type R's and even unfettled scooby's

    Yeah thats mine. Shame there's wasn't more of a write-up on the cars and the people who attended as the photographer took an absolute shefull of pics. But it was their open day.
    As for Vanstones mk1, thought that was a John Reed built engine.
    I have a mag here with it in, but the power was reported to be 178@fly and 210@wheels. Did he have alot more work done after that then?
