Thats the one, bit of a hooligans car with a lureverly engine had the chance to buy a good one 2 years ago and i'm still kicking myself today,
you mean a merc 190e 2.5 16v cosworth? yep, they are indeed fun and fairly quick. a mate has one, and it doesn't spend a lot of time going in a straight line!
Sierra cosworth. Not a huge amount of them around now but for fun per get a RWD one. Had some huge & fast fun in one including getting from cribs causeway in bristol to the middle of newquay in 1 hour and 25 minutes and that was mid-afternoon but did use up 60 petrol.
u can pick up a MR2 turbo import for bout 2.5k with reasonably low milage, rwd,not to mention leather, air con and a new image.... hairdresser
You won't get a decent one for that kind of money, you're looking at closer to 3.5/4k upwards for a good condition tubby. Prices have levelled off now that the barry boys have started buying them up and putting stupid big dump valves on them. If you want a real fun car then go for a supercharged mk1 mr2 , sticks to the road like sh*t to a blanket and has a fair bit of poke to boot. Hard to find though...
