Update Update i keep telling myself. Where does the Lupo stand at this moment? I am at a crossroads as to what happens now. As time has moved on my Son and my car buddies (i will just say Vw Enterprise) has opened my eyes and i have come to the conclusion i want some of this need for speed adrenalin. I will be glued to this computer tomorrow to update where I've got to. Till then have a good evening Club Gti members.

Hope all you guys and girls had a great Christmas and got all the presents you needed to keep the car/car build going. Well overdue photo of the bespoke driveshafts in the flesh.[IMG]. While waiting for these to turn up I started to put some items up for sale as the direction I was heading was changing quicker than I could sell. Short story is my boy sold up all his Mk1 16vt 4x4 setup got himself a Raylle and is going all out multivalve 6 cylinder Turbo. So i purchased this.[IMG] to go with this[IMG] [IMG] [IMG].Yes supercharging has gone straight out the window but it has left me with some user friendly parts. I have been screaming for space in the car now I will have it. I got myself a bespoke radiator with 70mm core compact and upto the job in hand[IMG]. To assist with intake air temps I have gone for charge cooling by PWR barrel coolers[IMG]. And to help get power to the road I got myself a Audi A3 Fsi 6 cog box with diff[IMG]. Work will commence once engine build has been completed. Have a good evening all:thumbup:

Just a quick one before the money run's out lol. Engine back from machine shop.[IMG]. Well happy with the workmanship.Intermediate shaft was put on a strict diet and then balanced to within a inch of it's life.[IMG]. Pistons and rods also got a full check up and we're paired and numbered.[IMG]. A few bits to get and engine work can commence.

No that’s an Oettinger sump [8D]

  18. Do you have any more info on the Oettinger engines? Finding any info is hard work!

Really good thread and top work so far!.

I'm on with a long slow burning restoration / buld as well.

Interested you've bought a PWR charge cooler, I have one of these on the shelf along with pump etc but just can't decide between that and a "normal" air to air setup?.

Think you need a decent water tank (at least 4 to 6 litres) to get resonable system performance.
