5th Gear Monday 22nd Sept - Video now added, p4

There's several torrent sites that will have it by the end of the night, it's one I'll be looking to get and keep.

 

Full marks to 5th Gear and TSR for putting that together.

 

Is it repeated later in the week anymore?

 

Yep! - Was good to see the before and after - Shame they didn't fit ARBs to it, and decent tyres and a diff... stripped and caged it , and blah blah blah blah !! (getting a bit carried away now....)

Still, good to see a mk2 Golf featured on the tele!



Would be nice for TSR if they get some extra valver fettling business after that feature too!

didn't see the second bit showing it after the tsr treatment!!! nigthmare, bloody kitten wasting all my time. We need a youtube of it on here, tiff had the thing going, was fun to watch

 

Was fitted with newmans, not piper thankfully. Entered, hope I win!

 

Great feature, nice to see an interesting car getting tastefully upgraded on a TV show for a change! Don't care what people say about Oak Green, it's still the best colour for a Mk2!

Had the rev limiter been raised, looked to rev to nearly 8k rpm according to the dash?

 

Raised rev limit too - was going to 8k !

VBH did used to have a mk2 GTI - she also used to work for max power!
