I missed it tonight (though have taped it) and I was really expecting them to announce that I'd won it, after they sent me such a nice text, thanking me for taking part .............

Fair enough there has been a lack of eligibulity checks, but i think your "idea" of someone cheating is rubbish TBH, look how close it was between 4 cars last weekend (nick wasnt in this race but was in the first race and his time were pritty much the same);

No word on who won it then? Looked a fantastic car thought there might have been a build write up on the volkswizard website as they supplied the car, they have only got a youtube link

 

Build write up? so which bits did they do as only TSR are mentioned in the vid aren't they?

 

On the volkswizard site they normally have a write up on cars they have supplied to tv shows, theres a piece about the car they sourced for a Top Gear feature a few years ago, just good advertising If you ask me, to be featured on the box and raises thier profile.

Would be good to know the cars history in depth as well as the tsr mods.

 

Volkswizard just supplied the car, im sure their involvement ended there, hence the lack of information. 5th Gear are the ones that sent it away to TSR to be fettled.

 

Did they supply it free?

apparently they asked a load of guys from the Ed38 site aswell to what they should do, because they have a build thread on it, in the TSR perfomance slot,

 

Anyone heard if someones won yet? There's nothing on the 5thgear site. They're probably so staggered a mk2 golf has raked in twice as much money in the txt's as cars worth 10 times as much
