Maybe someone from the Golf racing should offer a drive to Fifth Gear as all the presenters love mk2's

 

She ( and her brother Charlie ) also used to race karts against my friend Andrew, and apparently used to have a hissy fit when her kart stalled and she couldn't bump start it 'like the boys' could..

 

Mike , which browser do you use, the site doesn't work with my Flock browser , which is basically firefox, even after downloading the plug in, I watched it in IE.

 

My first kart was direct drive, I sold it as it was total ******* to start

TAG karts are a lot more user friendly, no bad backs

 

Wicked, appeared on Mininova this morning. God i want another Mk2, no where to bleedin park one in Barcelona though!

 

weee entered the competition. i can't believe how rubbish the rest of the show was... even the mk2 bit wasn't great. Can't they get their own show format?? lol!!

Nope that five on demand doesn't work on my pc either Gary & i use IE7, i get some script error or summit?

I will check to see when the repeat is on but i think it is sat morning iirc?

 

she's had the Mk2 for quite some time i remember an old episonde she had it then aswell, she has a Black 16v, shame she's not on this site, lol

that was just typical Fifth Gear,

 

The modified golf set the exact same time as a std Honda S2000 on the same track with Plato at the wheel. And was only 1.8sec slower than the Mugen Type R Civic.

 

Thats just awesome, the GTI is back, lol how would it have cost to bore that engine out to a 1.9 then ?

 

Why? It's hardly like they've covered themselves in glory. I could write a book on their misgivings - there's no shortage of material that has never been made public. And they've still yet to fill the technical eligibility check void left by the corrupt removal of the Club GTI technical team.

Maybe instead they should offer a drive on the 5th Gear test track to Club GTI owner(s)?
