I think it worked out around 120 a corner for the michelins or 80 a corner for some Toyo Proxies, which at 160 a set it did make him think......

But personally my opinion is don't buy a car you can't afford to run properly

    Eagle F1s every time

last for ages, amazing in the wet, however they are just rubbish for the first 300 or so miles till they are scrubbed in.

And for those that say they cost too much, they don't cost as much as loads of bodywork when you stuff it into a ditch/bus on the first bend

I'm up for it, but i think that it would be you that would be terrified by the awesome cornering & braking forces generated by the Vredesteins:lol:

you want to see him drive his truck

I was the victim of a high speed sideways parking episode.

Sitting in the car thinking what's that noise

    looked in the mirror

it was a bit like when the T rex is after them in Jurassic Park, but it was a mitsubishi pickup instead

Talking about footwells ............ I once took a guy out in a UR Quattro, he did some amateur rallying in a 205, he did actually take the seat belt off and drop in the footwell in fright

Which only goes to prove my point, his choice of tyres don't grip!

Had he fitted Vredesteins he wouldn't have been sideways & would have saved money[:D] ;)

ask Phatty about the pickup

Tyres are OE fitment and came when vehicle was new, with Vredesteins it would have been on its roof, more than once
