i think something in the foreground looks great in landscape shots but maybe that shot would look better without
i happen to have a collection just like it but there are school girls instead of a car get some stilts maybe?
That's not bad - I think you were possibly a little bit low down and it may look a bit better if you could see the top of the strands of grass. A bit of sunshine wouldn't go a miss either, but there's nowt you can do about that!
I'm a short ar$e, and couldnt help the long grass. I dont have a digi cam at the moment, i use works really old wind up one could someone point me in the direction of a half decent one.
top picture poke! cant really fault that i would like to see it with flash.....but there is a chance it might show to much under the car. the flash is great for making wheels look bling too
Awesome!!! I don't think it needs the flash RECARDO. As you say it would light up too much under the car. It looks better dark... Some additional lighting on the side of the car might work, but you can do that in photoshop! Nice one! Edited by: AL*Mk1
recardo, have you changed your camera? all your recent pics seem to really show up the oak green ...more...greeny ?
well most of these pictures are all old. yeah for some reason the d1x makes it look very black. few of the above are d70/d2h. but im always trying to bring the colour out now tho
This Book is a good read. It has a load of pics to study, and it details how some of the pictures were taken. I bought it for my brother for his birthday as he is a photographer in the Navy. I want him to take some decent pics of my car when he is back home!
Apart from the pic quality, whats the thoughts on this:? Edit: Took the pic with a cr@ppy phone cam, because I thought the car looked preety tough parked as it was, was just luck that I managed to capture the rest of street into the pic, to focus the picture mostly on the front end and the polished rims. good shots there dave j and youngdub am i learning anything??? pic pic pic if anyones having trouble viewing with all my pic whoring, lemme know and ill turn em into links. i played with the shutter speed on these 2 same shots, sorta getting more used to whats needed,i think? pic 1 slow shutter speed? pic 2 fast shutter speed? Edited by: riley
nice one riley....way better. you wont notice much of a difference with shutter speeds on still objects in the day light. save the slow shutter speeds for the night time.....then you will really! see the difference but very nice pictures indeed..(apart from the pilon coming out the roof on the last one)
