those last shots of the corrado are coming out really well i think the key is to place the car in a corner like you have there
Hey, i was recently up at a scottish vag meet and on the way up i was passanger in my m8s corrado vr6, along with us was anotehr friend in corrado g60. i took sum excellent rolling shots that are worthy of a vw brochure . I suck my arms out the window at a decent speed and get the car to overtake or you overtake the car you want to potograph. using a decent camera play about with the focus and shutter speed and snap away. Il leave the link and try to post a pic but im not to sure how to do it ywet so :S. Enjoy http://the-corrado.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27819
'Obviously these are taken within legal speed limits.' Dont belive that for one moment Non of the images are coming up on my computer mate! Just got back from spain, have lots of images to show, buts lots of resizing to do also, they will be up soon Sam
I got a 300D this week fairly cheap. Want some nice lenses when i can afford it, for now im going to be using the standard EFS 18-55. Hoping to get some really nice snaps with it.
Having just read this entire thread its really made me want to go out and get a decent camera. I've got quite a cheap digi camera atm, cost me about 80 quid early last year, but some shots I get with it are really good. However some are also terrible, so what sort of thing should I be looking at buying. Couldnt stretch to more than 200 quid really, as I'm only a poor student and lots of mods need doing to the car! But I would like something that I can play around with the settings on but also just point and click and get exactly what I see. Any ideas on a good camera to go for?
Olympus make good cameras, and arnt even that expensive, look around, do some window shopping, and im sure you will find something out there for your needs and expectations! Sam
I've just bought another digital camera (Fuji S5100) and need tips like this. It's got more settings than I will probably use I have found it's got a continous shooting mode on it though Edited by: GVK
That's the sort of pic I want to be taking Dex, you have told me, I'm sure but what camera are you using.
I think that's the best pic I've taken of my car. With an ancient Canon Digi. For the amateurs amongst us (me inc), I think the best thing you can do is to be careful when staging your pictures. Great thread. Recently bought a Canon Powershot A95 for much cheapness in Spain. Any thoughts from the experts?
Im an expert Lol, not really, i only have an Olympus 300 3.2, not bad for what i need it for though! Although when i start the one day a week photography course at college i think i might need to get a new one, hopefully not as ive only just got this one! Sam
Took this today, quite impressed, (slight bit of ps to make it perfect!) Took it off my nokia 1.3mp camera though so its not as good as my digi camera! The guys in the picture are a band, so they are using the image for their cd next album case! Clicky meeee!!!!11one Sam
Pett level in near Hastings ! in one shot it had just rained hard, but it was light in the background, so the car was wet ! The background is the most important part of the photo sometimes !! What you all think ?
That a vey good photo. Evan though you can't see the people's faces you still get a feel for what type of people they might be. Well done.
Paul, that effect in your last pic is something I'm interested in trying. Is is acheived buy standing quite far away from the car and zooming in loads? Musicman also seems to have this effect down to a tee.
htc- it looks as though they've focused manually on the car (half depress shutter) then zoomed in more causing the background to be out of focus. but i didn't think it was possible to zoom in if you're focusing on something i'd check but my camera is currently f**ked either that or they've done what dex explains on the last page....
Here's a few of my favourites from my two visits to Snetterton this week camera is fuji 5100 Comments welcome as ever..
