Answer: 2 Nov 2009 - Pistonheads 4 November 2009 - ScottishVAG 12 Nov 2009 - ScottishVAG (see post close to the bottom) 24 Dec 2009, CGTI - click: Note from maths teacher: "poor mental arithmetic"
19 Dec 2009: http://www.clubgti.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1830276&postcount=38 ^^ To give him his dues, that appears fairly remorseful. However, today on ScottishVAG:
The more I read, the more I find. 24 Dec - click 2nd Jan - click No, that was in June 2009, 6 months ago. Back to the abacus...
i think we might of gone a little far with the internet hunt but it was easy to get carried away! tbh.... i believe him when he says that stuff he was looking for was for his old golf which he crashed (then ran from the seen of the accident) at the fk rally.... and this car is probably still in his drive. But he is still clearly guilty of lying; 1) selling the golf he brought on ebay for 210 bhp in october (pistonheads) 2) then changing it to 197 bhp with the dyno plots essthree had sent him trying to be helpful... 3) he then lies again, saying he had recieved the plots from the previous owner, which could easily be proved with a copy of the email if he was innocent 4) he then lies further, saying that he sold the car 3 months ago when as chris has pointed out the car was still for sale in november If he is innocent, why doesn't he post evidence of the sale of n163-pho before the 1st of december where the VIC marker was put in place.... easy to prove
crud... how did i manage to delete my last post i thought the date of liablity on the dvla vehicle enquiry was that? or is that just when the tax expired... in the pistonheads add he said it had 3 months tax from november... so i presumed the 1/12/2009 was when the marker was set against it
he`s also on e38 wheeler dealing http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=user_posts&mid=30778
"Date of liabiilty" is the date a new tax disc is required, ie new one required 1.12.2009. Judging from this, the ad first went up in late October. "Maths" = October, November, December.... 3 months tax... ?
I'm a notorious criminal, and if I were being accused of what "Chico" is being accused of and was innocent, I would have written a lengthy post explaining exactly what the situation was, and contacted a mod with owners names, etc. - just to clear it up. All he's done is be evasive, lie, and backtrack. Not the sort of person I'd want to buy a car from...
I notice on one of those E38 threads he's asking about what gearbox code he has in his 1.6 MK4 Golf, then on another forum he's pretending its a 200+bhp GTi turbo. If nothing, we've proved that the bloke is a pathological liar and someone to be avoided at all costs.
Mr TSC, you are able to communicate and articulate your views in an informative and humourous way being the superfly gangster guy that you are. I read a couple of this humm22a lads posts. I do not even know what language there are in! I got a sore head trying to read them.
The guy's full of sh*t quite frankly. In this very thread he said: If he is passing them on (blindly or not) he is now the supplier. On the pistonheads ad however, the story is different: So which is it? The guy he bought it off, or an owner prior to that? The really stupid thing is that at no point in the discussion with ess_three did he mention he already had a dyno plot that miraculously looked identical to ess_three's. Personally, if I was the new owner of the mk3 in question & found out what he'd done I would spend a considerable amount of time, money & effort building the worlds biggest anus-stretching machine. Then I'd strap the little fu*ker in, set the width dial to 'golf mk3', depth dial to 'nasal cavity', & reverse the golf back into its new home. This assumes I wouldn't have worked out he was a lieing toe-rag within the first 2 seconds of him opening his mouth of course.
For those not watching developments elsewhere: mybruv@hotmail.com ? Previous owner info would have been useful, on the many occasions it was asked for: 19 Dec 22 Dec and again and again 24 Dec and again 2 Jan Edit: and 6 times on the ScottishVAG thread, which has now finally yielded something, under the threat of a permanent ban.
Ive read a few more things about this guy, some of which is interesting, some of which is utter bull by the sounds of it! First the interesting, the silver mk4 in bits on the drive was a GT TDI 115bhp that had chassis damage and didnt drive straight and was bought for 300 and had the engine number filed off! He has also been asking for cat d writeoff golfs on another forum! Also seen him say his mate owns a garage and that he is training to be a mechanic, his mum lives in Birmingham, he has recently been selling a dragon green 5door mk3 16v and i have a phone number but not sure if its still in use as its a couple of years old!
should this be reported to police or something? isnt it fraud? swapping number plates around and reapairing/selling cars that dont tally up to DVLA records is defintly a punishable crime. if anything, it might stop him doing it and/or screwing people over.
The level of detailed information about this people have found / posted is quite scary Even though he hasn`t posted a reply, I`m not jumping on the `hang him high and burn him` bandwagon just yet. I would like to hear his side of the story, he should start by answering the simple questions IMO. I think the personal comments about his appearance are offside. I`m glad I`ve got nothing to hide
