Car sold with false dyno plots - N163 PHO

Various mods have independently scrutinised the posts on this thread today.

To re-state:

- It is in hum22a's interests to be forthcoming with requested information to any moderator of this forum.

name and shame yes, putting up his address so everyone can see, and getting personel when none of you actually know him, no.

Well said Matt, i agree totally

He clearly is guilty of selling a Car with fake Dyno prints, which were stolen from EssThree, who kindly pm'd them to him, not knowing that he would then find out a fellow member would use them for his own car to sell on!!!
I would be very annoyed if i was the person who bought that car.

People who do these things shouldn't be aloud to part of a enthusiast club. Most of us are on here because we love our Vw's, and do what we can to help each other out on here.
Since being a member for 3 years, i havn't come across anyone who has done anything similar to this...

Hum22a on the other hand is just one of these people who are out for themselves, and wanted to get more money for his car with fake/stolen printouts... (IMO)

If i were a MOD, i would have a poll on this thread or on a new one, where the members can vote whether to -

a. Ban him for life for betraying fellow enthusiasts...

b. Turn a blind eye and let him carry on

I bet you wouldn't be laughing if it was your print outs being used else where, or whether you bought a standard Mk3 thinking it had 197 BHP...

Lets not argue amongst ourselves though hey. I just thought a poll would be a good idea, to see what the members (who are a major part of this club), the right to do what is best

 

We can't do a poll to decide such matters.

If folks can just hold off and wait for further updates, it would be much appreciated. Notwithstanding what's already been said, this is not condusive towards our getting any input from hum22a.

i have no idea who this person is any more than the majority of you, but if i was in his position i'd much rather this than personnal insults and having my address posted all over a public forum. he seems to have pretty much walked away anyway.

he's not a victim matt, far from it, but theres a limit.
ive already said, i agree with people knowing what he's done, i dont agree with how far its been allowed to go.

i have, and seeing as you cant find the new owner or never seen the car on a dyno you cant 100% say it has or has not

 

^ I'm with Matt82. It goes without saying of course that said do-gooders would just turn the other cheek if they'd purchased hum22a's (or any car for that matter) under false pretences.
Seems even here we can't escape from the british 'political correctness above all else' disease.
