I don't think mine have really evolved at all! Just a collection of oldies:

First car - roofless 1968 triumph herald primrose yellow 1.5L
Next up - white MG midget 1976 1.5L
Doesn't really count as blew up very quickly - blue ford sierra 1.8L
Third - toyota rav 4 black 2L I really liked it at the time for some extraordinary reason
fourth - white mark 1 golf gti cabby
fifth - black mark 1 golf gti cabby
sixth - ford bronco 5L

Most unreliable = ALL of them!
Favourite = wee white golf, am glad we kept her

 

79 998 mini - started stocked, ended with flowed head, white wheels, exhaust, recaros

96 cooper - started stock - ended 2" exhaust, and thats about it as sold after 6 month

2001 Ka - induction kit, race exhaust - lasted 4 months as I hated it with a passion

98 cooper - started stock.. said it wasnt gooing to be modded - sold with stage 3 race head, new wheels, lowered, buckets, harnesses, custom roof vinyl, exhaust, adj tie rods, etc

mk4 golf estate - brought stock as a practicle car - sold lowered 30mm, 17" TT wheels, projector head lights from the US, cupra splitter...

mk1 - brought lighty modded - with coil overs and wheels - sold stripped, buckets, comp wheels, and 2.0 16v eaton supercharged engine.

so I have had a few..and the current cars are modded too (the mk2s a bit more mad that the others in some ways)
